Arunachal Pradesh
Arunachal Pradesh is an Indian state located in the North-Eastern region of India. It was established on 20-Feb-1987. The capital of the state is Itanagar. The official language is English. Major rivers include Brahmaputra, Lohit, Subansiri, Kameng, Dibang.
As per Census 2011, the total area of the state is 83,743 square kilometres.
The state has a unicameral legislature with 2 Lok Sabha seats, 1 Rajya Sabha seat, 60 Vidhan Sabha seats. Judicial matters are handled by the Gauhati High Court. Arunachal Pradesh shares borders with Assam, Nagaland, and has an international border with China, Bhutan, Myanmar.
