Lakshadweep
Lakshadweep is an Indian union territory located in the Southern region of India. It was established on 01-Nov-1956. The capital of the union territory is Kavaratti. The official language is English. Additional official language includes Malayalam.
As per Census 2011, the total area of the union territory is 30 square kilometres, including 9 square kilometres of rural area and 21 square kilometres of urban area.
